Broiled Grapefruit with Grand Marnier Sugar

This easy-to-make dessert allows you to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your guests.
Prep Time: 5 minutes, Cook Time: 3 to 5 minutes, Serves 6

3 grapefruit
4 Tbsp Grand Marnier or amaretto
6 Tbsp brown sugar

Preheat broiler. Cut grapefruit into halves and remove any seeds. Trim a small portion of the bottom of each grapefruit, so they are level. Section each grapefruit. Place in a baking dish. Mix together the sugar and liqueur. Sprinkle evenly over the grapefruit. Place pan under the broiler, about 2 inches from the flame and cook for about 3 minutes. Watch closely to prevent the sugar from burning. Serve warm.
