Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes, Serves 4
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
4 bananas, peeled and sliced in half on an angle
4 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup dark rum
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
In a large skillet melt 2 Tbsp butter. Add bananas and sauté until browned on
two sides. Set aside. Melt remaining butter in skillet. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, vanilla
and rum until smooth. Add bananas and coat with sauce. Plate bananas, top with ice
cream and remaining sauce.
