Get ready to make a double-batch of these buttery shortbread-like squares. Once your friends and family taste these they’ll disappear faster than you can melt the chocolate!
Makes about 36 squares

1 c. Henry's Unsalted Butter, softened
2 c. organic, unbleached all-purpose flour
1 c. organic light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Henry's Large Egg Yolk
1 (8oz.) bar of Fair Trade Milk or Semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 c. organic walnuts, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 350F. Place butter, flour and sugar in a food processor. Pulse to mix. Add vanilla and egg yolk. Pulse until well combined. Remove from processor and press firmly into a 10x15x1-inch pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped chocolate. Let stand for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to melt. Spread chocolate even over the top of toffee. Sprinkle with nuts, and gently press into the chocolate. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
