Get Your Greens On!
Whether it’s Earth Day or any day, it’s important to not only live green, but to eat your greens too.
Everyone knows that greens are nutritious. They’re the dark, leafy darlings of the wellness and
nutrition world. In fact, they’re even listed as one of the world’s top superfoods.
According to the World’s Most Healthiest Foods website (WMHF), greens, such as collards, are
nutritional powerhouses with off the chart levels of vitamins A, C, and K. According to the WMHF,
just one cup of cooked collards supplies 880 percent of the Recommend Daily Allowance (RDA) for
vitamin K and 118.9 percent RDA for vitamin C.
