Sick of standard burgers? Try this Latin inspired twist on the classic and serve on whole wheat bread or old-fashioned hamburger buns.
Prep time: 15 minutes, Grill time: 18 minutes, Serves 4

1 beaten egg
3/4 cup quick-cook rolled oats (in our bulk bins)
1/2 cup pimiento-stuffed green olives, sliced
1/4 cup snipped parsley
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup jalapeno pepper jelly (or substitute apple jelly), melted
1/3 cup salsa
Thin slices of bread, toasted or hamburger buns

1. Heat grill to medium heat. In a medium bowl, combine the egg, rolled oats, olives, parsley, tomato paste and pepper. Add the ground beef and mix well. Form into four 1-inch meat loaves.
2. Grill uncovered for 16 to 18 minutes until meat is no longer pink, turning once. Brush with melted jalapeno jelly (adds sweet-hot flavor) then grill about 2 minutes more.
3. Top with salsa and serve on thin slices of toasted bread or hamburger buns with your favorite condiments.
