This simple, yet delicious spring recipe infuses lemon and garlic to accent the naturally good flavors of fresh Alaskan Halibut. Serve with spring asparagus, corn-on-the-cob, or a light salad. Perfect paired with a light to medium bodied white wine.
Prep time 20 minutes, Serves 2

2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. lemon pepper
2 (4-6 oz. each) Alaska halibut fillets
Lemon wedges

Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic. Season halibut steaks on both sides with lemon pepper. Place steaks in pan and cook for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Flip steaks halfway through cooking to brown on both sides. Sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.
