What to drink ...
Need something a little more bubbly to celebrate the New Year? Of course there’s Champagne, the quintessential New Year’s Eve beverage, but at Henry's we also feature a few effervescent options from across the globe, as well as from our own backyard. So, tip your glass and toast to the New Year in style!
While many wines sparkle and bubble-to enjoy the real thing-Champagne must hail from the Champagne region in France. A long history of wine-making expertise combined with unique climate and soil conditions produce a sparkling wine, like no other, that not only quenches thirst but creates lasting memories as well. Indulge in a glass or two of bubbly this holiday season, and give the old year a proper send off! When choosing a Champagne keep in mind that:
Brut denotes a very dry Champagne.
Nonvintage means that a blend grapes from several vintages are used to create the Champagne.
Rosé signals that a small quantity of red wine is added to Champagne making a pretty pink hue.
Blanc de Blanc means the Champagne was made from white grapes exclusively.
