Paul's Carne Asada

Paul's Carne Asada is a delicious lime and herb marinated grilled steak that is easy to make and can be used in a variety of ways. Slice this tender steak thin for tacos, burritos and fajitas, or make steak nachos and top with diced tomatoes, cheese, chives and jalapenos.
Prep time 25 minutes, Serves 4

1 pound ribeye or rump roast, sliced thin (just ask our meat counter)
Juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. red chile powder
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste

Pound ribeye steak very lightly. Rub the surface vigorously with the juice of the lime.

Mix together all other ingredients. Sprinkle ribeye generously with the chile rub. Grill or broil to your desired doneness.

Serve with grilled onions, tortillas, black beans and your favorite salsa.
