Makes one 1/4 c. orange vodka 2 Tbsp. pomegranate juice 1/4 c. freshly squeezed orange juice 1-2 Tbsp. fruit-infused simple syrup 1 slice orange Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, pomegranate juice, orange juice, simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with orange slice. Fruit-Infused Simple Syrup 1 c. water 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. Pomegranate Juice Juice from 2 organic oranges Peels from 2 organic oranges Bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Turn off heat. Add orange peels. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes. Strain to remove orange peels. Place in a covered container and chill. Once chilled, add orange and pomegranate juices. |
