Wellness Fair in San Diego - September 13, 2008 Mark Your Calendar! Henry’s Farmers Markets is hosting its 12th Annual Wellness Fair on September 13 in San Diego! This year will be bigger than ever with two exhibit halls to hold even more vendors, and as always, we'll have plenty of natural products to sample and great giveaways. This year’s theme will be “Sustainable Wellness,” and will focus on ways to live a healthier, more natural lifestyle that is as healthy for your body as for our planet. From all-star chefs cooking up healthy dishes to expert presentations on incorporating an eco-friendly lifestyle, the Henry’s Wellness Fair will include more than 50 exhibits with free food tastings, natural product samplings, health screenings, fitness demonstrations as well as a children’s zone. The event will include special appearances by local favorite chef/author Sam the Cooking Guy and the New York Times’ bestselling author Sophie Uliano, author of Gorgeously Green: 8 Simple Steps to an Earth-Friendly Life. They will be joined by 11 prominent natural health speakers offering lectures on various wellness topics throughout the day. See the agenda of speakers. The first 1,000 attendees will receive a FREE Henry’s canvas bag filled with delicious fresh produce. In keeping with this year’s Wellness Fair theme, Henry’s Farmers Market hopes to show San Diegans how easy it can be to “greenify” one’s lifestyle and challenge attendees to take individual steps toward improving local sustainability. For just $10 you'll have the opportunity to get advice from nationally renown health experts on topics such as weight loss, fighting the cold and flu with natural remedies, herbs that heal, gluten-free living and more.
